Events

The annual Gas Up is our largest event. It is open to the public and held at the end of April. This is the ceremony to induct the latest Hall of Fame members into the Dry Lakes Hall of Fame. The honorees are all involved in Land Speed Racing on the dry lake beds of the Bonneville Salt Flats and El Mirage. They include land speed record holders, car owners, officials, historians and more. We have a BBQ, raffles, shirts & souvenir sales and the ring and plaque presentation. There are land speed cars and motorcycles parked inside the compound and out front.

Car and Motorcycle Clubs also enjoy coming here for their special functions.

We do private events for interested parties. These can simply be tours or they can include a BBQ (or some other kind of meal) upon request.

Functions that go into the evening enjoy the full effect of all the nostalgia with the old neon signs lit up.
